MA User Experience (UX) Design
In 2018, I attended Loughborough University to complete a masters degree in User Experience Design. Each module was focused around a different area of UX design and resulted in a project that followed the full double diamond process.

Syndicate League
Integrated platform for syndicate members to interact with The National Lottery results journey.
We worked with Camelot Group, the organisation that runs The National Lottery, in order to develop a concept to encourage syndicate members to engage with the results journey. Since The National Lottery began in 1994, the way that users engage with the results journey has remained the same. Syndicate members play on the lottery, but most of the time, they wait for the leader of the syndicate to tell them the results.

Recycle Smart
Interactive recycling bin to encourage post-graduate students to recycle while they are staying in student halls.
Recycling has become a big talking point in the media over recent years with new recycling schemes being implemented throughout the country. High profile documentaries, such as Blue Planet II (2017) has brought the effect of plastic pollution into the spot light.
Loughborough University tries to combat the large amount of waste that could be recycled by placing new recycling bins throughout campus and in student halls. Despite doing this, there is still a huge amount of general waste that could be recycled, and bags of recycling rejected due to contamination.
USABILITY TESTING // RESPONSIVE WEB DESIGN // AGILE
CeX
Usability testing on the current website in order to recommend improvements.
The CeX website was usability tested using several different methods in order to uncover areas of improvement that would improve the user’s experience and satisfaction of using the site. The website was redesigned, considering responsive design and agile design plan for the implementing changes.
…and a little bit extra
During my time at Loughbourgh, there were opportunities to showcase our projects and to attend UX conferences. I kept a short blog about the experiences. Check it out!
