About me
Hello!
I’m Katie.
As a Senior Product Designer specialising in UX, I am passionate about solving problems and creating solutions that ensure a positive user experience from start to finish. Utilising the double diamond user-centred design process, I navigate complex challenges, balancing user needs with business requirements.
Currently, I lead projects in the healthcare industry, working as a Senior Product Designer for Bupa. I work in a multidisciplinary squad of with a UX researcher, UI designer and Content designer on various projects, including websites, apps, and portals, serving both direct users and business partners.

Personal
The key to being a great designer is balance.
Outside of work I spend time watching different types of sports. I am a lifelong Rugby League supporter and new to Formula 1 (Drive to Survive is partly to blame). I tried my hand at golf but decided it was just getting in the way of a nice walk.
I have always loved hiking and have started to make more regular trips up to the Lake District to check off the Wainwright peaks. My biggest achievement is climbing Ben Nevis.
I enjoy playing video games (Switch, PS4 & PC), reading books and binge watching TV in phases.
Board games can get competitive and puzzles are there to be solved. Current favourite are Surugu puzzles but I can always fall back on a good Sudoku.
